About Us
Our Story
South Brisbane District Cricket Club was established in 1897 in Fairfield, Brisbane. Home of the mighty Magpies and one of the oldest cricket clubs in Brisbane, with alumni including Sam Trimble, Greg Chappell, Craig McDermott, Andrew Bichel, Ben Cutting and Billy Stanlake. For the 2020-21 season, the club also recruited former Australian international player Gurinder Sandhu.
Fehlberg Park
Our home ground, host to the famous Norman Gray, Bob Young and Jack Cooke ovals.
Queensland Premier Cricket
Six grades of Men's cricket, a second grade Women's team, and the Lord's Taverners (U17) competition.
Junior Pathways
We work closely with local junior clubs to build pathways for young players moving into senior cricket.
